I went to Tousley Motorsports last evening (Largest ATV/Snowmobile dealer in Minnesota)and there were no Kodiaks in inventory. Grizzlies yes, Ranchers, Cat 500's ES450s but no Kodiaks.
What gives?

BTW the RancherES was 5199, the 450ES was 5999, Grizzlies were 6299 and the Arctic Cat 500 Auto was 6099.

One of my buddies here in North Carolina is having the same problem. And when he does find one by the time he gets it out the door it will cost him about 6500.00$ I guess its a supply and demand thing kind of like OPEC.
Good Luck

Hey Thor, not to trash Tousley but they are way over priced. It's a great store to go into to LOOK around at all the stuff, but if your going to buy try Century Power Equipment in Stillwater. I bought my '00 Grizzly there for $6,049 and was very happy with their service. Tousley is alot closer to me and I tried going there for oil and an air filter, (they were out of Yamalube 10W-30 and they told me they had to order my air filter at $27.50 and it would take 3-4 days) I drove to Century and they had both and the filter was $19.50. Tousley is great because of the fact that they have all their inventory displayed and all their prices marked though, just shop around if your thinking of buying a Kodiak. When I bought my Grizz at Century last August they only had one Kodiak and it was a demo, but they had just come out.

Century Power Equipment is very competitive on pricing and provides excellent service in parts procurement at reasonable prices. I agree with you. I have priced Tousley and Garceau on parts and they are right through the roof. They don't even blink or stutter when they ask you for $4.67 for one O ring. (and a common size at that)

Whenever I have priced Arctic Cat products or parts Century is right on the money and usually has what you want. I would rank them #1 for Arctic Cat and Heinen & Mason #1 for Polaris in this area.

I have 30 hours on mine and love it. No problems at all except that it needs a bigger main jet. Go to Lake Hill Motors in Corinth Mississippi for tax free out the door @ $5599.00. Take a look. No tricks. Corinth is at the MS, TN, & Al borders.

I purchased my Rancher a couple of weeks ago, had to wait 2 weeks for delivery, they were sold out. There were several Kodiaks on the floor. Sales must go in cycles one type hot this week, another type hot the following week. I inquired about the Kodiaks and was told the price ($6099)was full retail + setup + shipping. I didn't get much of a deal on my Honda either.

I just purchased mine 2 weeks ago. I got it for $5,495 out the door. My local dealer here in Michigan had 2 more on the floor. The 00 Kodiak is a great quad, you will not be disappointed.

therock, Me and a friend bought 2 Kodiaks at Lake Hill Motors in Corinth Miss. They cost us $5495 out the door in November. We both like the choice we made.

I paid over msrp for mine but I'm glad I got it. My guess is the price will go up seeing as it is atv of the year.
