I'm thinking of unrestricting + rejetting my raptor, and was wondering if a new air filter would flow better than the stock one? I don't want anything too expensive, and I definatly want foam. Maybe a uni, or twin air? If I can't get anything that flown any better, I just won't bother. And I'm in Canada, so $100 to the U.S., is like $150 here (and I don't want to spend that much) I preferably want to keep the lid on, and maybe open the lid up behind the filter, near the back. Your help will be appricated. Thanks.

 

if there is 1 thing you should buy for the raptor no questions asked is the proflow air filter system. I know it is alot of money for an airfilter but it is well worth it. Yes airfilters do make a difference some let more air in then others.I know how you feel i don't have the money to go buy alot of stuff at one time either but it is well worth it.

 

I agree with Rob, the stock filter is a cheesy piece and a bad fit. I was leary of the K&N at first, but went with on recomendations from people I now who have been riding in the dusty, sandy atmospheres I ride in and have been using them for years. I have (foam) twin airs on our dirt bikes 250/125.

Lose the stock air filter.
