WHAT IS THIS FOR AND IF I CHANGE THE STOCK ONE WILL IT HELP

It is a chamber designed to equalize and balance multiple carburetors. It supposedly provides a boost to low and mid-range horsepower. It has been commonly employed on Ski-Doo and Polaris snowmobile engines over the past couple of years.

THANKS FOR THE INFO, BUT WILL I HAVE TO CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE OR JUST PUT IT ON AND GO?

You are far better off buy the boost bottle kit with new reeds but you can actually get away with put on the bottle only and ride away. You will notice a major improvement in low to mid. A huge difference off the line.
