Big Bear 400 4X4

After a full day of riding, you will feel the fatigue in your shoulders. Turning radius in dirt is pretty good and I haven't had much problem in tight woods, however, the tirning radius is not good on paved surfaces. On a straight away, at close to or full throttle, it seems to pull to one side slightly. That may be due to the 4 wheel drive or possible need of wheel alignment. I think the handling of the BB 4x4 is superb. The BB has performed great in all situations I run it through except for soupy mud and I think that is because of the stock tires Yamaha puts on the BB.
The next set may be Bi or Tri Claw or Vampires.

I own a 97 BB SE 4X4 (red) has dual range trans like the kodiak had prior to the new kodiak this year. I like this set up for snow plowing up here in Upper Michigan. You can be in 2nd gear low and step on foot brake shift into reverse and shift back forward and go forward without shifting back up to 2nd gear unlike some hondas you have to squeese left hand brake and push in red button then down shift to reverse. I agree the stock tires are alot to be desire in true muddin but that what the after markets are all about. Customize to your personal touch and needs.
good luck on your decision.
