Ok Im selling my raptor and was wondering what I can get for it?

Ok whats on it.
Brand New RAzrs front and rear
Reanthal handlebars, pro grip grips
Billet dashboard
Yellow shockcovers
New chains and sprockets
ac racing bumper

It has about 30hrs all woods, clean, plastic is in ok shape the plastic has about dime size stress marks. A-arms are polished runs great.

So can You guys help me out please i was thinking arounbd 4700

 

mine is in the paper now for 4700 or best offer. dealer offered 4400.00 for trade on a 03 raptor. they want 6500 for the new one. right now mine is completely stock. good luck selling it. what are you going to get next?

 

did you get any calls? and i thought yours was totaly stock wats up wit all th mods below?

 

stripped it down and put it back to stock. i'm getting a 03 so i'll be putting all the aftermarket stuff on it. no calls yet...

 

Actually $4400 is a quite reasonable trade in offer for a 01.
Especially when you consider that NEW 02's are going for around $5700.

$4700 is probably the max your going to get & it'll be a lot of hassle to sell yourself. Is the hassle really worth $300 you might have to wait a couple of months to get if at all?

If I was trading in a 01 & was offered $4400 on an 03 I'd jump on it!! I'd try to find a dealer who was willing to deal a little on the 03 though.

Bigdaddy, Good move on taking it back to stock!! I still have all the stock parts I took off mine, People said to sell them on ebay But when I sell mine the stock parts are going back on. & if I dont get a Raptor the next time (who knows what'll be available in a couple of years), I'll sell my after market stuff at the track or dunes.

Oh yea, Those red/balck or blue/black 03's look sweet!!

 

I agree with moose. $4400.00 for a trade in is a sweet deal on a 2001. Kelly blue book has them listed at $3870.00. Retail (what you'd expect to pay at a dealer is $5610.00 Split that in half and you should get some where near it if you sold to a private party. JMO

 

Hey one more question what do you guys ride like woods,track ect. and what do your engines and plastic look like? because my engine looks like crap kinda and the plastic is bad but not to bad? like i was thinging of taking a steam cleaner to the eninge because it takes everything else out so why wouldnt?

 

My engine is grease and oil free. Slight rub marks on the sides near the foot pegs. Plastic has some scratches etc. No stress marks because its black and white. I ride, mountains, mud, deserts and dunes.

 

moose, the 4400.00 also includes giving the dealer the 03 wheels and tires with my 01. so what do you think that's worth?

 

Kevin1442- Go buy sone citrus based engine cleaner and use that. Spray it on, let it set for 15 mins and spray off using pressure washer. Your engine will come out spotless. Spray your hoses, pipe ,etc. On your cables/ wires use spray nine, let sit then hose off. Up value a few extra bucks.
