Anyone running an oil cooler on their raptor? If so, what type and where did you mount it? Is it worthwhile?

I have found several posts for a warrior oil cooler and I know four stroke tech makes one for the warrior, but I cannot find anyone that has one on their raptor.

Thanks

The raptor doesn't need an oil cooler, because it is already liquid cooled. Oil coolers are mainly for air cooled bikes.

If you think it's running hot you can get a Pingrys oil tank, It holds an extra quart & will make it run cooler.

At the quad bash june 29th 1 raptor had a oil cooler mounted in front of the radator. I think pingry's would be the way to go. I like the extra quart. We ride hard and change the oil a lot. I use ac delco 2057 oil filters. A lot cheaper

I bought a trans cooler that will fit nicely in front of the radiator. I think I will give it a try, cant hurt I guess. I think I will run the oil line from the top of the oil tank to the cooler and then from the cooler to the top of the tank. I am going to check the engine temp before and after with a heat gun and see if it makes any difference.

See ya
