I have a 2002 Raptor that is totally stock. I would like to put an extended swingarm, wider a-arms, and a wider axle. What dimensions does everybody recommend for each and what kind of each. I ride mostly trails and need more stability for hill climbs and powerslides. Thanks.

My freidn just put a plus 4 axle on and lower profile tires and that helped a lot...the raptor is already "sorta" wide up front but the rear end is almost as narrow as my blasters,if not as narrow.

i ride tight trails in fla.and i have also ridden taskers gap in va.
2"is the perfect length for your swingarm for riding on the east coast call lonestar or eyeball engineering for your axle get a durablue 2+2 a-arms are a personal choice(i have timmy boy +2/+1),lots to choose from lonestar, houser the list goes on and on what about wheel spacers? when you widen and lengthen your quad you need to address your shocks as well... also your width will limit a lot of the trails you ride... |
Cannitor do you know the price of the eyeball swingarm??? & a good place to pick one up.... Thanks!!!
|
i paid 760.00(chromed)
came complete with bearing carrier/ready to install eyeball actually manufactures for lonestar (i purchased it through quad central) what a great mod for your raptor...it gives you the ability to put all that power to the ground(although at the expense of wheelies) |
Where is Quad Central located??

Las Vegas...sin city

Just an FYI, if you would like an alternative for lengthening the Rap swing arm, you might want to look at w w w. q u a d s h o p a t v.com
They are ALOT less expensive and mine has held up very well. Just another option for the cost sensitive Rap owner. |
Cannitor you mean QC II on speedway blvd. I live in Las Vegas!!!
