Beware! The stock raptor pipe is made of mild steel and stainless steel. The small diameter headheadpipe that is welded to the midpipe section is made of Stainless while the rest of the pipe is mild steel. Chrome plating bonds fine to mild but not at all to stainless. I got mine back last week, put it on, ran the quad for five minutes, turned it off and watched the chrome on the stainless section crumble off. Luckily the guy that plated it was cool and polished the stainless section to match the chrome. It looks good. I added a good used Procircuit T4 slip on and got a full system for under $260.00 If you do not want any down time while plating, buy a used headpipe from East coast ATV for under thirty bucks shipped and have it sent to be plated. P.S. I removed the heat shields with grinding and sanding to add a more custom look.
