King- I can see that you and i will have a great race against each other at FSW's. I will bring you a towel to cry on. I am not driving 1400 miles to lose.

I think you had the GPS upside down and you were really going 39.

14mins,

I really don't trust these GPS's these days. BUT, I got an idea!!!!

I will drive your Grand National along side you and verify the top speed of that SUPERCHICKEN!LOL!!!!

As a matter of fact, I would be willing to also take your GN(as a testing tool mind you) and run you thru MANY quarter mile drags! After all, what are friends for!!he he he he he.....

Hey 14mins, dont let the wife find out how much money you are spending on the quad. She may find a new place to stick all of the left over parts.

Biggerisbetter- the GN.........Where do you think the new raptor motor came from. lol I have the GN looking/running great now EXCEPT she is leaking oil out of the rear main I guess you never want your toys to be 100 percent done.

Hey 14mins, I can get you a replacement part number for that rear main seal that will work better than stock. I'm a member of the GSCA and have been racing Buicks since the early 80s. My Dad has been racing them since the 60s. He runs an 87 Turbo car and I stayed with the noisy lopeing V8. I do have a Turbo diesel that I'm starting to mess with. Getting it into the low 14s is going to be a snap. Nothing like a 7199 pound rice eater. ROFL.

My Raptor ran slightly over 79 with the stock exhaust (baffle removed). I could easily see a Raptor with 20 more horses hitting 93 or MORE. 14mins....I know what you mean by the local fuzz.......I was clocked at 68 with a very mild 400ex......now that was expensive (in more ways than one). Also, were you hitting the rev limiter? Try a 14 tooth front sprocket too......you may pull it better in the salt-flat like 5th gear. JMO.
By the way, 90+ on an atv feels like 200.

I had a mild 250r snorting NOS years ago that would knock a hole on the century mark.....100 can be done easier than the unnowing may think. Just gotta have the power and gearing too get there!

14,
with a 15t countersprocket the bizzare gap between 1st and 2nd on your 01 raptor must be HUGE! that has got to feel strange
are you running the 15 just to find your top end?

I trail ride my Raptor exclusively and a 14 tooth front sprocket that works great for me.....I find myself in 5th frequently. I may try a 15 just too see if mine is quicker over a couple hundred yards.....like the 14 tooth did over the 13 tooth.
