Why is it that tracks limit the time for quad practices?

What do you mean?

My local track limits everybodys time, I would say each class gets about 15 min. There is 2 days of practice a week that they only let big bikes run.

At our track here they have practice everyday but only allow quads out on 1 night. Alot of the other tracks in the area won't ever let us out there except if they have an organized race. They say we mess up the track.

There's power in #'s. If you have it, organize and threaten to boycott or try buying some land and building your own track. If you don't have #'s then try writing your track a polite letter every week or even day. If you don't want to do that then you'll just have to deal with it or find another hobby.

no doubt...quads do eat up a track fast...especially narrow tracks. if the track doesn't have sufficient help or equipment to keep up, they're fighting a losing battle.
