When did this topic get so far off track. There is always a faster Raptor somewhere King. I don't dispute yours being fast....and I don't own one, but anyone who has enough cahoontas to blast people based on geographical locations can't be to confident with themselves. Good luck at the FSW......you're going to need it.

What did your plugs look like?? I would check the fuel pump first. I ran into the same problem with my ASC a few years back.


To answer your question from the other day.......It's all in the piston. That's it. Just the piston. Some companies mix the stuff up and there have been a few success stories, but they are few. The coating will still flake off with extreme heat, but as long as you are using a high quality bearing lubricant, the damage will be minimal. Stay away from that. It's too heavy and offers hardly any benefit in the long run. The older version had curved sides and the later one's has straight sides. Vibration will be a problem unless you are using an anti vibe stem or handlebar weights from a street bike. Those things do shake badly.


Oh.....The fastest production based quad is the Hayabusa powered SX-13 supercar built by Suzuki. I want to see your Raptor go up against that King. LOL
