I was thinking it would be great to buy a pre owned Raptor but I think they still might be expensive even then. What's the cheapest Raptor you saw for sale used or whatever in the paper or something????

 

Seeing as how the Raptor has only been out for two model years it will probably be a while till you can get a good steal on one. I bought my 2002 Raptor used from a guy who had it for 6 weeks and he sold it to me for $5500. The cheapest price I've seen advertised in my area is $5200 but that was on a 2001.

I see used 01's for $5000 or more. I have also recently seen a couple 02's for under $5700, but typically people are asking too much for them.

There is a dealer near me that is selling brand new 02's for under $5400 OTD. Chicago Cycle Center.

 

Go to Ebay there are many for sale right now.

 

A guy just about a mile from me just sold a 2001, bought in January 02 for $2500. I am still kicking myself for not buying it.

 

Hey, there was one in Cycle trader, a 2001 for $4300. That is the Cheapest I've seen.

The deal im still considering some guy wanting to trade his 01 with a bad tranny for my rolling frame [no motor] 250r. hmmmm

Due to 2001 trannies I have seen them go for dirt cheap in local want ads
