I have a 02 Raptor I bought new. I decided to upgrade it with a K&N air filter and white bro's E series exh.I also bought the dynojet jet kit (which I took out).I thought it was going to "wake it up" like every one said. But instead it has been a pain in the butt. I have had the carbs off at least 8 times trying different jet sizes and needle hights. I have decided to stay with the Mikuni jets and stock needles(unless someone can convince me Dynojets are better). I am at 300 altitude and I have cut the flaps out. I have 150,155 mikuni gets , the needles are at the 3rd slot from top.The pilots are 3 turns out. The exhaust has 7 plates. Is there something I am doing wrong or is this the best I am going to get? I ride with two other raptors and we are all seem to be the same speed no matter what we do (and one of them is stock?). Thanks...

Sounds like your jetting is way off..or something is wrong with your bike. Ive race people with the white bros exhaust...and beat them pretty badly with the same mods, just different exhaust. I also run Dynojets, and I usually have it jetted right the first time I try.
Something just isnt adding up in your case...because 95% of people are impressed with the power, and the other 5% seem to have problems.

First of all, go buy you 10 more plates for the Exhaust(no kiddin). the E series pipe doesn't come with enough plates, and your are not moving any more air than a stock pipe. Then follow the DynoJet Instructions.

This should make a great improvment.GOOD LUCK!

The Alba pipe comes with 12 disks. I just put 6 more on this week. I haven't got to ride it yet to see if theres a difference. 7 disks does not sound like enough to me but, with the lid on maybe it is. Take the lid off, let the thing breath. Lid off, mikuni jets you'll need 155/160 to run with no lid at your elevation. More air in = more air out= more HP. If your not willing to take the lid off, what you have is what you'll get. JMO

You need to run 14disc's pull the lid off and jet up!!! The dynojet kit has worked for me but not for others. The Dynojet kit's also seem to be eaiser to "dial in" on a bike with no internal engine mod's. Your bike should be NOTICABLY faster with theese simple mod's!!!! Good Luck

You should feel a big diffrence when you get it set up right.
I put a full Sparks X6 with stainless headpipe & spark arrestor, (I added stainless washers between the discs to open it up) Dynojet kit (146~148 A/C 3 turns out & needles on 4th groove) & Pro Flo adaptor & K&N filter.
My a$$ dyno said WOW. You get it set up right & you will feel a differance!

Also check to see if you are really getting full throttle. These are assembled by hand and vary from machine to machine. This is something that I do with every quad that I have owned. You would be amazed at how many quads are out there and aren't running at full potential due to a stupid 3 minute job.

Poolplayer, get rid the WB E-serie pipe they are junk since I used to own one and like you said it pain in the butt. It never woke the bike up at all. Go get different pipes. Like LRD, Spark, or Alba whatever turn you on.
I got LRD pipe and it really woke the bike up and got the dyno jet that made for the pipe only and it spot on. I like it alot since I got LRD pipe and they look cool.

I'm running a Team Alba Stage 2 exhaust. I have the jets at 160 and a 165. Plus i replaced the needles as well. Actually alba sent me a kit with the pipe. I don't know what the jet is called but i replaced 2 of them. I guess the mains are a 160 and a 165. Not sure what the other ones i put in are. My raptor pulls away from stock quads easily. It may be the fact you are running a white brothers exhaust?? Not sure but i know how hard mine pulls with the little i did do to it. I've raced my friends stock raptors and smoked them. It sounds like you went a little too far with playing with the carbs
