mudding tips with big bear 4x4??
#1
Hey I got stuck the other day in my big bear 4x4 only in my opinion because it stalled right in the middle of the mud hole I am pretty sure it was because the exhaust was under water and I was kind of babying it (new 2003 BB) and wasnt giving it enough throttle?? Well anyways does anyone have any advice when going threw mud?? thanks in advance

If you know the hole (no rocks, etc.) then the best way is hit it fast, hit it hard. What will stop you is hitting "top center" in your favorite pig pen. The faster speed that you have going into the hole will give you the ability to slide across the mud rather than getting hung up on it.
Do you have a "plastic" skid plate? I prefer plastic because it doesnt get hungup on me. I have seen the aluminum skids stick to the mud or catch a rock and rip/bend. The plastic ones seem to let the bike GLIDE over smaller rocks and goo. If you dont have skids....get them. I would rather replace a cracked/broken skid than an A-arm or frame.
