raptor mainbearings
#1
i just went to my local mechanic to pick up my friends sons go karts and there was a 01 raptor there completely stripped down. the whole engine and gas tank were completely out. It was basically just the frame and tires.
n e ways, i told him i was looking into getting one this early spring and he said they were great machines but watch out cause it has weak main bearings or somehting like that. Has anybody ever heard of this. Im pretty sure it was a 2001. He also said that it took him 3 hours to get the engine out. THis is a prettty big concern seeing as though i am extrememly serious about getting one. thanks
BTW, it the raptor as stable as a warrior with rear holeshots. IVe only sat on a raptor and never driven one but i know the raptor has been accused of being tippy by some. How do they compare. Stock raptor to warrior with holeshots? thanks again

I've never heard about the weak main bearing thing.
All the bearings are roller bearings so I guess you could get a bad one but an oil starvation would kill them (along with everything else)
I know if there was a problem we would have heard about it here.
3 hours to pull a motor? is he new at this or something?
