I purchased one of the Trinity Stage IV and have been extreamly pleased with the pipe. Stage IV pipeTo get the most out of the pipe you will need to mod your airbox, but you could get it tuned in without the airbox mod.

Take a look at the Power-Tech4 exhaust system, I just put one on my stock 01Raptor and it sure made a difference. It is a complete system made from polished 304 stainless including the silencer. The best part is that there are no screws, rivets or flanges to leak or come loose on the silencer and you never have to repack it. It is made by MBRP and there is a full page add in the latest Dirt Wheels Mag. I just put it on and it has a real good sound and is not as loud as most but clean deep sounding with not pops or snapping. I have not touched the air filter or carbs yet and there is a noticable power and response difference. For My other Raptor with many more mods I am installing a different Power-Tech4 system with much larger head pipe and a different silencer internal design from the other one. You can see the pipes in dirt wheels and also go to www.mbrp.com I will post some pics of my systems later. Tonight we will be test and tunning at Kennedale Raceway drag strip. Going to run that new drag pipe too.

no offence taken but look at the silencer construction and you will see. It does not come apart because it is a welded sealed unit. If you see somthing that you have a question about call the toll free number and talk to to MBRP. I have called them and I am satisfied with the design. Soon I will know more on performance too which is what we all want to know.

There are a ton of great pipes on the market right now. It almost boils down to looks and how much cake you want to spend. With the set up you have for your raptor at this time, you won't see substancial preformance differences from one aftermarket pipe to the next. Good luck.

P.S. I run a Bill's Pipe on the "TUNED" Raptor and I'm very happy with it.

Does anybody run the gyt-r pipe or does it just suck. I can't find anything on it, but that carbon fiber would probably look good on my limited edition. just kicking ideas around before I drop some change on something that I will end up wanting to replace in a short period. Is jetting the really the big power gainer?

RRC,
Again please take no offense, but just because it is a "sealed" design doesn't mean the silencer never has to be repacked. In my mind, it just means that you can't repack it, therefore once the packing starts to fail in it (which everyone I have seen so far needs to be repacked eventually) you just won't be able to do anything about it.

I haven't heard of any packing that lasts forever, have you? Maybe I am still in the stone age, eh? If there is this miracle packing out there, spread the wealth. I for one would love to not ever have to repack my silencer.

I believe there was a DS exhaust that was made with a sealed silencer too. It was a "something X" I think, from Australia I believe. I dunno...
