How do you figure out compression ratio?

What is the formula to get cc?
I can now tell I have been out of school too long, I can't remember anything.

To figure CC I think it is ( Pi R Squared) x stroke. To figure ratio you would need to know size of combustion chamber. And if you have a dish or dome on your piston you would need to know how much volume it displaces. Then divide the CC by combustion chamber volume. This could be totally wrong, I'm the product of forced busing.

Depends on how accurate you want to be. Basic ballpark would be half the bore(R)X3.14Xstroke to find Displacement then divide displacement by chamber size-dome size. Like SixSixT said.

More accurate way, the following must be considered:
The volume between the piston and cylinder wall (difference in bore and top land diameter). The height from the top ring to the deck. The volume of the cup on the valve face if any. The volume of the head gasket when torqued. The full number pi instead of simply 3.14. Piston to deck clearance (either postive or negative).
