I am thinking about either buying, building, or having a trailor built. I want to be able to haul 2 quads on a trailor and it needs to be TOUCH to get where we hunt. What style trailor do you guys think would be best? How much parts would I be looking at? How much just to buy it? Would it be possible to just buy an axle out of a car and some wheels and throw it together? thanks for the help guys, I am a young computer geek with a million questions. Thanks again.

Mike

If you just want to transport 2 quads I would suggest a snowmobile trailer. You can load both forward and you will only have one axle, so you will have less to get stuck. Speaking of stuck, normally you want to park the truck and trailer and ride the quads back to the hunt site so you don't get the truck stuck. But, if you have to take your truck and trailer back in the woods, the snowmobile would be a good choice. They are light and easier to back up if you get into a jam.

95ramtough,
This is a link to some trailer plans on Ebay. If I can get the local FFA to do it, I am going to pay them to do mine. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1856419110
It really looks like you can put 2 quads on this one.

That looks like that trailor would do the job. If I wasn't in college I wouldnt think twice to build my dream trailer, but I am away from home (away from the shop and tools)

I built my own for about half of what it cost to buy one. I was also able to make it the size and weight that I wanted. The only cost was the axel and metal. I got the axel and springs for $125 at a trailor supply store. The total after paint and all was about $300, this is for a 5x10 made light for better MPG behind the four banger.

95ramtough,

The drive on and then off feature is quite nice and space efficient.

If you can build your own try and copy one of these ATV trailors
