My uncle is getting a 1996 BB S.E. (hi lo range)

I was just wondering what the pro's and con's are on this bike, if they are reliable etc. Any help would be appreciated!

I have a 1998 Big Bear 350 (no hi-low). Very reliable machine. Mine has about 4000 miles on it and other than a small carb problem(slider return spring dislocating) have had no problems nor replaced any parts(other than filters brakes ect.)We do a lot of long distance riding(about 100 miles each day) and I have towed out Hondas, Suzuks, Polars, and other Yamahas, but (knock on wood) I have never been in "tennis shoe mode" with my Bear.
