Any 4 strokers break 5 secs??? Who went and how did it turn out?? Did the Moose steal all your money in the bracket races??

 

The big winner was the weather!!!
We dodged the storms all day long but at around 10:30 they hit with a vengance, Race was called about halfway through the 4th round & the money was split between everyone still in.
We either had perfect weather or rain this year not much in between.

As for me I'm PI$$ED!!!
I cut a .439 light in the first round it launched hard & straight but I lost 2/10ths somehow & thats a huge amount of time with the compitition at Atoka.
I guess I didn't read the track right, It must have been dryier than it looked.
In the 3 years I've been racing at Atoka this was the 2nd time I went out first round & I'm not happy about it!!!

Oh well that's Racing!

At least I came home in 1 piece, Our pro 1 VW dragster broke the mainshaft on a bye run to the semis!! We had it apart when it started raining so we got semi money anyhow.

 

i was knocking on the door. maybe next month i can come in. i ran a 5.07 at 59mph. i was running a 18 tooth front sprocket and a 41 rear with 22" tires. i'll have it geared better next month.

The Texas sand drags track is also down hill!!
You'll pick up a little speed & go quicker.

 

texas sand drags every 4th weekend of the month

 

the texas track should be easy to get into the 4's. my buddy has a banshee that picks up 4mph there. he said that the track is down hill. i have been wanting to try it out. i guess it will be awhile now before i can.
