i recently bought a banshee from a friend i wanted to know what the average top speed is stock. my friend said it was 78 mph but i dont think that is right.
prolly is around 78 maybe 80 or so we have a stock banshee also
68-74mph
65-73 depending on the conditions.
Yeah, 80 is a little high for a stock Shee, considering that the jetting is good for your altitude, and you dont live on top of pikes peak, then somewhere in the neighborhood of 68-74.
Completely bone stock I hit 72 on mine as measured with a GPS. Pipes/jetting/K&N put it up to 82, higher gearing nudged it up to 84... All on pavement with a GPS. Not sure what it goes now maybe 85/86 tops.

When My Banshee was stock it would do 74 MPH but now I cant get it out of 3rd gear with it Fishtailing on me.
Its harder for a factory to dial in a 2 stroke so a stock banshee is usally in the low 70's. Around 70 or 71. But in higher elevation 65-68 are possible. However once you dial in the jetting your at 73-74, then play around with the aftermarket and skies the limit.
Did anyone ever put the PIAA lights on the banshee. Im thinking of doing that. |
Stock... 72-74mph
However, I have talked to a lot of people who have stock Banshee's that go 100mph...one guy even has one that goes 130mph. Geez, some of the stories that you hear. -Josh |
My dad put on PIAA lights on his Banshee he likes them. He bought them for a 24h ice race that him and sum other people reace in. He won last year and thats where they gained on a lot of people was in the dark so the lights worked great. He has two stationary and one one the handlebars.
