I already bought a k n filter. Now im hearing I need to get a pro flow adapter but im not sure what it even does? Also will the filter I have already bought work with it? Also is it a good thing to use if you run like no air lid or holes in it? Thanks

The Pro-Flow adaptor bolts on your air box. It enables you to use a more secure and reliable clamp on style air filter. I made one for my Kodiak after riding one day and after checking the filter seen that it had come loose from its slots. I personally havent paid much attention to a Raptor air box. Does it has the slots for the air filter like most Yamahas do? If that is the case and the K&N you bought fits in those slots that K&N wont work with a Pro-Flow adaptor.
