Stock Banshee wheel spin is a problem for the Banshee on dirt. Race the Z and the Shee on pavement and your Z won't have a shot. 5th gear and 6th gear on a banshee is where it will shine. Your Z may hang close until the shees power band is obtained in 5th gear. Your Z won't be anywhere close after that on pavement.

As for the others the Blaster is a 2 stroke as pointed out. You figure you need to double the cc on a 4 stroke over a 2 stroke to beat or stay with the 2 stroke for the most part. All that will vary some as the displacement gets bigger. JMO

A stock shees power isnt much. Please.

The banshee has a ton of power. Thats why the wheels never stop spinning.

The problem is that half the riders riding banshees cant drive them. It is the hardest bike to learn becasue you have to master riding the powerband. But belive me, if the rider new how to ride it perfect, or at least as good as me a Z400 wouldnt stand a chance on gravel or on pavement.

I witnessed a race between a polaris sportsman 700 and a z 400 and the results were shocking. They pretty much tied and i would almost give the win to the sportsman. The banshee can kill all these bikes. Only bike that can hurt a banshee is a DS or a Raptor and probably the preditor. Not to mention the cannons and zilla.

A Banshee lost to a 400z ? The Banshee rider must of been a old man with a hat.

Last time I looked the shee is about the same HP as the Z stock for stock. I do think the rider needs to know how to drive the shee to beat the Z, thats just part of the shee package. Almost any rider can jump on the Z and ride it like a champ, thats part of the Z package. So the race was fair, I can beat the shee on gravel but not on pavement, well up to 3rd or 4th gear anyways.

So it can go either way when they are both stock, the shee isn't all that when stock but it is a pretty good quad non the less. The Z isn't all that either, there are always other quads out there that will be better, the might shee will fall one day, right now its stumbling.

Stock Banshee has 33 to 36 hp at the rear wheels, Stock Z has 29 to 33 at the rear wheels. Unless the Banshee has a perfect rider and is on pavement it's history, been there and gave that lesson more than once. Banshee will have about a 4 mph topend advantage when they are both stock. But the only area's I have to do topend at are roads. We all know what a modded Banshee will do but that's not what he asked.

Stock for Stock warrior and blaster are about the same. A blaster is cheaper to make faster though, after a cam and piston a warrior gets downright expensive whereas on a blaster you get it ported and such. Major advantage a 2 stroke has is it is cheaper to make fast.

ok i was the banshee racing the Z , and first off my plugs r bad 2nd i dont have enuff time on the track we race to get to top speed, theres probally at least 60-70 lbs diff between me and the other rider so those are some of the main reason but the whole time i was right on his tail.

Hmmm.....brand new to the forums, I don't think that last post is legit. Oh well, just some banshee lover trying to keep the faith in the shee. If not well then good for the banshee. When I raced the she I'm the one who weighed more, I crushed it on gravel and he tied me until 4th gear on pavement. If I was lighter and he was heavier I would have beat him even more on gravel and beat him on pavement until 5th gear probably.

<< Why did my modded warrior get beat by the piped blaster thats 150cc's???? >>

answer: 2 stroke vs 4 stroke. a 2 stroke makes much more power cc for cc

<< Why did the 300ex put up so much fight with the warrior????? >>

too sketchy, could be the fact that the 300ex is set up stock as more of a sport quad

<< Why did the 200cc blaster blow both 300ex's away??? >>

again, more power from 2 stokes ccs than 4 stroke displacement

<< why did the banshee lose 2 tha z???? >>

could be rider, could be the fact that 4 strokes make more torque at lower rpms than 2 strokes. from personal experience, however, im inclined to believe that the race should have been neck and neck, with the banshee having a slight edge.

hope that clears things up a little
