My raptor idle's fine but when i push on the throttle it bogs out
as if it was running out of gas or if the fuel had water.
After a couple of days sitting it works fine.
alba pipe kit
stock jets
K&N Proflow
Also if any one knows and have tryed if Edelbrock makes a carb for the raptor please let me know.

Fredo

Yes Edelbrock make the carb for Raptor and it not cheap... I think it over 600dollar or more for sure.

The idles issue...... ?
You might want to check the carb of clean it out. You might got something clogging. That what I would do first to make sure.

Alba pipe, K&N filter, and stock jets, might be just a little on the lean side. I don't know if this is your problem but if you are lean it will be.

Stock jets with a pipe is definately a NO-NO. Up your mains to recommended levels.....you are gonna melt your engine down. Also, something could be clogged up. Take the carb apart and clean everything throughly. I like too use brake cleaner. Have you messed with the needles? Sounds like a needle could be sticking in the up position.

I had the alba jet kit that came with the pipe kit, was running way to ritch at high altitude (7000 ft) Alba told me to use the stock jets, the over size jets are for up to 3000 ft. We ride from sea level to 7000 ft in 45 to 60mins.that's why i want to us the Edelbrock carbs.
PS. Two of my freinds have the same problem. Could be poor fuel quality.

Where do you live of that area? Col?

If you do live in Col. then might be the poor fuel batch that you got when to get gas. Maybe or not.

I live in Port-au-Prince Haiti in the caribean. The fuel quality is not too good. What could i use to add to the fuel to make it better?
Do you know if the Edelbrock carbs will solve my problem?
