I'm new to this forum, but I've been reading alot about these two items for my Raptor on here and they(high compression piston and Hot cam stage 1) look like a good investment to me.I have two questions though.#1 Where can I order these items? #2 How much compression can I run before pump gas turns into a problem? I may just run the cam if I have to get away from pump gas. Thanks in advance.

the 11:1 piston is actually 10.75:1 and will work good with the cam

So with the 10.75 compression ratio I can still get away with pump gas without any problems?

Right now I just ride around on my land. I just picked it up last weekend and It's been about 8 years since I rode a ATV or motorcycle. I'm looking forward to getting out to some of the riding areas.

Which mag's should I look for? I've been out of this stuff for along time so it's like starting from square one for me.

Thanks Mike

I ordered my cam directly from www.hotcamsinc.com ($145)and the 10.75 piston directly from www.jepistons.com. ($140). I run 93 octane in my Rap around sea level up too maybe 3000' with no problems. I recommend doing both at the same time....the head has too come off too get down too the piston....may as well install the cam and do it all 1 time. Be ready too jet up......makes the Rap thirsty.
