I have a 2002 Blaster and having brake problems that I hope someone can help me solve.

I have no brakes, front or back, but the pads are almost still brand new all the way around. I have adjusted the little lever in on the front, but now they will not go any tighter and still no brakes. Shouldn't the back brakes adjust themselves? The brakes seemed to wear to nothing (meaning that they progressively got weaker until there were none). I have put about 15 hours of riding this bike since I purchased it brand new. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The brakes do not adjust them selves, blaster brakes are not to great to start with. Check free play in your cables the make sure all linkages are moving it is not uncommon for then to seize. You need to clean and lub all moving parts of you brakes and get a cable luber to make sure you flush dirt and junk out while adding lube.
