I was at the Tillamook County Fairgrounds yesterday, and got a chance to witness one of the most modified ATVs I have ever seen. It had at least a 1 liter street bike engine with gobs of HP, no idea how much. It did the drag strip (1/8 mile I believe) at 79 mph, 3.8 seconds.
There are 4 different movies, feel free to watch them and let me know what you think..... There is one highly modified Banshee, I only get a good shot of him launching, not the full run.
Here you go,
Highly modified Banshee
Monster ATV - 1
Monster ATV - 2
Monster ATV - 3
BTW - the bike that this monster beat, was a highly modified Raptor.... nothing could come close to touching that thing.

WOW! That thing is SOO sweet dude. Holy sh_t!! Those movies are amazing. That is atleast a 7 second 1/4 mile ATV. If it does the 1/8th in 3.8, it does the other 1/8th mile in atleast 3 seconds. That is ONE FAST what seems to be SUPER MODDED SHEE!! wow.. Im still amazed... thanks man for the videos and KEEP THEM COMING!

The drags were at Tillamook, Oregon at the fair grounds. RaptorRdrTX, you are probably correct, it was probably 300 ft., which is half of an 1/8 mile. I did make one mistake, it was 2.8, not 3.8, which would easily yield a 4 to 5 second run in the 1/8th mile. I listened to the video and heard the announcer, and also did a calculation. At 3.8, his speed would be about 54 mph.
I am pretty sure that it was either a Honda Hurricane 1000, or a KX1100 engine... it sounded like an Indy car when he staged, it was awesome!!!
