anyone reverse the front wheels on their RAPTOR?

and if so, how did it work? does it feel less tippy?

I did this on my wife's 250EX, and it made a noticable difference

did it to my raptor, it's alot better now. Me and all my friends have always done this to all of our quads, the only thing you need to do is move your valve stem.

It works good if you don't mind replacing tie rods and ends quite often.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

Why do you have to replace the tie-rod ends more often? Does the extra width put that much extra stress on them? If so, what about ball joint failure? Seems like it would maybe be a problem too. I was going to try this, but my valve stem was hitting the brake caliper(just slightly), if I can find a super shorty one it will work.

Yeah it puts stress on the tie rods BAD. I have been through many sets, but I still leave them flipped. The tie rods are the only thing I have had trouble with though.

Why is this? I need some too but it sounds like oyu broke something.

You can be sure something will eventually brake. Its a cheap solution for a temporary fix.

wow that's crazy.... I reversed the rims on my wife's 250EX, it's been over a year now, and we haven't had any problems

no.. didn't get a Raptor yet....
