I don't think so since they upgrade the tranny from 01 to 02. other that that about it.

Ive got about 30 hrs on a 2002.
I bent the rear disk the 1st day,,,so ive got a nice constant squeak,,until i replace it. Thanks to Yamaha for a wonderful plastic skidplate.
Other than that,,,all OK.
