You will increase the quads tendency to bump-steer,meaning when you hit a bump with the left tire the quad will want to turn left,with extreme speed through bumpy sections the bumps can actually rip the bars out of your hands.
Not trying to discourage you just stating the facts.Bump-steer is better that rolling your quad 5 times a day because its a little narrow for how you're riding it.
Yes I would have to agree it will wear steering and suspension components slightly faster.Also when I did it for my buddy I had to drill a hole in the opposite side of the rim for the valve stem(preferably 180 degrees from the original one) then you have to put a valve stem in the original hole backwards,one in the new hole pointing outwards in the right direction,and viola wider is better.All that being so the stock valve stem doesn' hit the brake caliper
