alright that sounds pretty sweet... would a 240 blaster keep up witha stock rap? cuz tahts what my friend gots and iwanna keep up with him.. can you give me the web site for the 240 kit? like the exact site? have you gotten it? do you know how well it worx? is it reliable? thnx alot toomey

 

Well You can get a Better Rear Shock then Works it is a Custom Axis For $545.00 and the Works Quadstar will cost you 488.99.
And they will set them up for the type of riding you do and you weight.
And yes I do alot of jumping and I do get big air and I like my rear Works shock But I want to put the Custom Axis on the Back of my banshee.
And it is alot better then Stock.
And the amp link I have heard good and bad things about it I heard it does not leave any Slack in your chain and when you jump it will snap your Chain.

if it does acually have 40 it would technically beat any other stock machine cause what raps have like 35 or sumthing stock plus you got to think power to weight blaster is 50lb lighter then most quads but for sure get new tires and wheels but you got to remember that 40hp it isn't at the rear wheels so you probably looking at about 35 at the rear wheels so you might give a rap a run for its money you should beat an 400ex tho who knows depends on how much hp it really adds
with the 240kit you'll for sure be able to pull a 14t front so max speed with 20inch tires would be about 62mph
duncan racing also has a site along with trenga - they are blaster specialest who also sell ct stuff so you could talk to them about that 240kit

I have seen a Blaster with a 240 kit and FMF Pipe and Silencer race a Rap and the Blaster was like 7-8 Quads behind the Rap.

ya thats really expensive the duncan racing kit adds 45%more power so that might be a cheaper alternative also that would be still very reliable they say it acually increases the reliablity of the blaster with the kit or you could just get like new pipes, reeds, votos piston, and some other goodies but ya the 240 kit is pretty expensive like i know vitos has a 240 kit for cheap but be carefull cause you can just get the boring but that only adds like 1hp you need the bigger carb and other stuff to make a difference
fmf did that rap have any mods did the 240 kit come with carbs and everything \
just to make it clear i thing you would have to do a lot to a blaster to make it beat a rap so don't go thinking that i think that it would beat a raptor
maby if you got the 240kit and everything imaginable run alky and you might be able to keep up with the big boys

The Blaster and Rap I seen race. The Rap had a White Brothers E series and the drag race was 1/4 Mile

ya that makes sense a piped rap would be faster then almost all blasters
