Actually, I'm not sure how it was modified, but at the Dyno, on June 29th in Aledo, a stock modified slip-on fetched more HP than a Pro-circuit T4, and a GYTR slip-on. They were all on the same quad, same time, etc.

Its been a long time ago, but someone on the forum gutted the interior of the stock pipe.

The above post speaks of my modded stock silencer. I made a few of them to see what would happen and how the dynos looked between high dollar systems and modded stock. I learned that, as has been posted many times that if you want an aftermarket system, go with what you like the looks of because there is not much difference between the choices with the exception and IMO the Power-Tech 4 system. It has a unique design that has a noticable difference in performance and the sound is great. The modded stock silencer did dyno 1 hp better than a few other silencers and from that information I was happy. MBRP makes systems that gives me what the other systems seem to lack. The stock silencer worked good but I never was able to get the sound that I liked. I tried many different packing configuations and core perforations too. I did not like the thought of replacing packing every 10 or 20 hours and the MBRP never has to be packed, big plus to me. Ask 14mins about the full bore Power Tech-4 he is running in place of the Trinity stage -4. I will say that the other systems felt like they were stuffed up compared to the MBRP systems. For less modded motors the standard MBRP full system worked fantastic, I put one on the famous Trailer Queen and she likes it. Some of the people here know about the Trailer Queen's reputation and it is not bad.

673, what do you mean ok, I can't believe how yours runs gutted like that. Your motor work has been matched to the gutted silencer and I can't figure it out. It is a hot setup anyway.

yeah, what does completely gutted mean?

you removed all baffles, pipes, s/a, etc.?

it's just a big empty can on the end of the exhaust pipe???

bet that sounds horrible
