they did a test in the december issue of dw of the toomey pipe
they said it easily added 10mph on the top speed
they dragged it to a stock one and said the toomey blaster was similart to a stock one at about 3/4 throttle and they they could punch it to 60plus
overall they loved the pipe and they said it gave it a big performance boost
i don't know guys i have a hard time believing that it would go 65mph just will a pipe and stock gearing
it would go faster tho just because it revs way higher because there is no rev limiter and with the new pipe it allows it to rev higher
what do you guys think?

 

It will probobly do 60MPH with the Toomey B1 pipe and Silencer and the High flow air flow air filter and the air box vents and rejet.

Sounds like another example of Dirtwheel's top notch technical reporting. Did they give any numbers such as before and after speeds or acceleration or did they just say it is 10 MPH faster? Either way, ANY decent pipe will add a lot to a 2 stroke. Toomey quality and support ar tops for what that's worth.

 

no they just kinda said that it gained 10mprh easily
but ya i love my toomeys and i impressed with the customer support

 

i run 14 tooth front 37 tooth rear on my blaster and i wish i could go higher i can still pull wheelies in 5th gear no clutch raps out in six

 

yeah i saw that too,i thought it was pretty optimistic but it surrtenely feels like its about 5 mph more!1 badblaster,you got any pics??How you like your ct240 kit??

 

mine's definitely faster now, even with smaller rear tires, but i dont spend much time at the very top end so i really dont care. it's around 60 somewhere when it makes my eyes water. it does.

seems most of my riding is 3rd, 4th, and 5th, dpending on conditions.....

and the midrange rush is better and smoother to the top end now.

65? who really cares? thats not a huge quad. it wouldnt bother me on a raptor, but that blaster could swap ends so fast at speed........wow! 60 is plenty for what i do....
