FSW Food
#1
Ok what does the food look like at FSWs. Is 14 really going to cook a pig? I thought I might make a gumbo for everybody, my little contribution. I heard some of the yankees saying something about steak so I figured I should be ethnic as well. The only way I thought pig would be ethnic for 14mins is because of all the DS riders in Texas, LOL. I know gumbo isn't really a S. MS orignal but my dad is 1/2 coon@ss, if that counts. Plus I didn't really think you all want fried chicken, which would be ethnic for MS. So whats the deal on the food or am I just wizzing into the wind?
I know this has been answered before but how far is good water?

I'll bring the deep fryer and peanut oil for cooking the BIG A$$ wild turkey I am bringing.
I also understand that firewood is at a premium out there, so you might want to bring some! I'll be bringing some good ole hard wood from my property here. Birch and a little white oak, good for hot fires and burns slow!
Water is a good question. I have one of those water coolers, so I might just order up a few extra 5 gallon jugs to bring along too.

I am thinking about bringing a few pounds of Kronski's. They are a smoked kealabalsa(sp?) sausage that is like no other when put on a barbecue or roasted over a fire. A Wyoming original(athough the people are Greek LOL). Either that or I could bring some packages of elk steak!!!
