Anybody done sumthing stupid that really came close the ending badly???

When i first got my warrior running, i was down the road at a friends house and couldnt find a truck to get it back with. well a state trooper lives on this road, well it had been runnin crappy, the clutch wouldnt adjust, no electric start, dead battery, oil leak ect.... i just wanted to see how it ran. Well i got this bright idea, hey lets ride back up the road to my house, as i go by this cops house it looked like a cop convention(It looked like a cookout with all the guys from the office) It didnt have an airbox at the time and wasnt jetted and it wouldnt run wide open or even close in 6th without wanting to die. well i see this, and am like ohh crap, so i floored it and go flyin by with this loud T-4 screamin on the back, they all turned and looked, and stared. Stupid me forgot to check the gas, and not 10 feet past his house it starts to sputter i knew rite away what it was, i reached down and turned to rezerve. and dropped the clutch and it didnt start and came to a stop not 30 feet away. I turned and looked and these people are yellin and wavin there arms, i got off and pulled like h*ll on the pull rope. and after like 8 pulls it fired. i got on and hammered it down, people at the house were getting in a car and trying to back out, in the garage i flew and slammed the door. they blew by my house flying and went the other way. It was so close its not even funney. never again will i ride without gas. but i fixed all the problems so im good if i run out again.

LoL

Good story. We ride alot on the country roads on our raptor. Acutally just got back from a ride of about 15 miles all on country roads. We ride from my house to my friends sister house to go ride there. Nothing like blasting down a rode in freezing cold. I'm still thawn out. One time I had a car chase me and I was driving without lights on and I was flyin. They chased me for 3 miles and then I slid around corner and was about to take off down a wheat field and they kept going straight. Boy I was relieved.

So ya I do stupid stuff on the raptor. But haven't got caught by the law yet..................

Yea this one car chased me and my buddy and we lost them. Then a couple of miles away we stopped and was sitting just off the road. And then the damn car came and we were just about to take off and they turned around. Just about a couple hundred feet away. Man I love that. Nothing like playn cat and mouse in the middle of the night.

its just that simple, no car can catch a race quad on a dirt road at night. traveled much that way . even better, in the snow, you can drive ye ole' sled down mainstreet and then when the cops spot ya, punch it and rip through a couple of fields outta town and your smooth sailin.

One that comes to mind is this guy in this old green ford truck, bud of mine did a donut in his driveway afte he cused him out for riding on the road, it was like 11:30 at night, we sat on the side of the road on this tall hill and looked down and like 20 mins later here he comes flyin down this road goes past us and slams the breaks and starts backin up, needless to say after all the time he spent ridin around we figured it was time to pack it in and go home before that nutzo started shootin at us.
it was like 70 degress no wind calm still and a full moon, i couldnt resist ridin til late. i loved it but gettin shots not worth it.

"Beware the crazies ride at midnight"

and i mean it.

Cops down here just dont give a rip unless your speeding or really loud. There is a police sub station on the street that leads to my neighborhood. My neighbor found a funny lookin turtle and carried it up there on his fourwheeler and asked them what it was LOL. The trick is to drive real slow on the edge of the road with atleast one wheel in the grass when you see a cop. I mean they dont stop people riding lawnmowers from one house to another. But they would if it was loud as crap and screamin by at 45mph, which I have done and the cops did get called. More because they didnt know what the heck I was on LMAO. Moral is go slow and leave one tire in the grass, when they stop you just talk and make up a good story. Heck just talk to them and theyl say "you need to keep that off the road" and you say, im in the ditch and they say, well just make sure you dont get on the road so your neighbors will shut up".

*edited because there might be a cop in here* I did a burn out in my truck, noticed cop was across street, I had heart attack picked a side road and parked it. (all other evidence removed). Bet he dropped his donut just like my heart dropped to the floor when i saw his car. For some reason he didnt come get me, maybe he thought I hightailed it but thank god he didnt come get me.

I didn't know Warriors had a recoil pull starter. Are you sure you have a Warrior, and not some other quad?
