Anyone know which DOT? I am installing steel brake lines today

 

the manual calls for a dot4 brake fluid, A high temp dot 3 will work

 

I used Motul DOT 5.1. It has a dry boiling point of 522 degrees. It is compatible with DOT 3 & 4.
I boiled my stock fluid (DOT 4) & my brakes went spongy.
I went ahead & put on the stainless brake lines when I flushed my system.

I am with Moose. I went with Motul RBF600 in the TT bike after stainless lines. I quickly changed all of my bikes to it. Almost zero brake fade.
