I need a quad for my better half
#1
I guess I need to get a ride for my wife. She had my old warrior but didn't like the clutch, so its gone now. I am looking for something EASY maintance, no clutch or auto, and light. I know Mrs Buttfungis rides a Recon, does she like it? How do they do in sand? It will probably be a couple years old, what ever I get.

Mrs. Ward660R needs a trick golf cart with canopy, stereo, cool lighting effects, and beverages for a buck...free to you and discounted to other compound members of course! LOL

Ben, my wife really likes her recon es. Shifting gears with your finger is pretty cool. It's very easy to ride, light and low maintenance. It does ok in the sand, but the large dunes can be too much for it . It needs just a little more power and suspension. The new z250 looks very interesting and the 250ex ( like ToomeyBlasterRyder) mentioned already, has a little more zip and suspension. I'm trying to talk her into a KFX700! It's automatic and should have enough power , right? lol...

Ward660R,
My wife always chooses are 99 Recon when she wants to ride and a matter of fact I get on it a lot too myself.
Recon is a sweet little quad and finding a couple year old Recon at a good price might not be so easy though because every one that purchases one new tends to keep them unless there upgrading.
