Kodiak450,
I have lived in the Buffalo southtowns all of my life so have always known what most consider a lot of snow. Not really a big deal as far as I'm concerned. What bothers me is that you get a good storm then a melt where it mostly goes away. Not a problem today as it was zero this morning. I would rather November through February or March stayed 28 degrees with a good base. If this was the case I would get a sled. As it is I could never justify one. Kind of like a boat.
I was looking at the ATV as a decent 4 season toy with some utility application (plowing, towing trees, moving trailers where the car can not, ....).

poeny, i know what you mean i bought an arctic cat zl 500 liq. brand new in 99 and it was a terrific sled, best ive ever owned, and ive had a few. i put like 400mi on it since than, snow comes one day melted within a couple days. just never had the time to travel. all i ever seemed to do was look at it, so i sold it a couple months ago and thats when i started my 4-wheeler search. needless to say but, here i am. it seems to me and dam well may be misinformed but, these quads sure seem like they deprieciate a whole lot less. we have a classified add up here and these machines are selling for more now than they were new. do you see the same thing in your area? i will just be glad to have something to play around on all year round. cant wait to see how she go"s maybe this weekend if all goes well. you must of got areal good taste of how this machine plows by now, and from what im hearing it sounds like it goes real well, true? i"ll catch up with you later.
