I have a good idea. You leave your 4x4 in tact because you are more likely to use it in the winter anyways. I know I love having the 4x4 and you can still spin just as good. Then you wait for Warn to make a 424 select for the Wolverine because it looks like a much better piece of hardwear than the Highlifter piece. then you can have 2x4 or 4x4. I agree if you want just 2x4 get yourself a wolverine. then you'll have a 6 speed fully manual anyways. just take the mods off of your Wolverine and sell it stock. you know almost all wolverine/warrior parts are interchangeable. not all of them, for instance, the carb is a 36mm on the warrior and a 34 on the wolverine, well at least for 97 and up. the 96's had the 36mm carb and had spuddering and hesitation problems.

I was also wondering how a wolverine would be without the front differential .......................but I would rather have a quality unlocker if it is avaliable....................is there one? It has got to be alot more fun machine in 2 wheel drive.

Tell me something, if I disconnect the driveshaft from the engine to the front diff. (which I already have) & leave the front diff. bolted up & just ride like that will that tear up anything??? Maybe a stupid question just want to be sure.

I do plan on going back to 4wd as soon as warn comes out with there kit or as soon as I get tired of 2wd.

I don't see how it could tear up anything as long as the differential has lubricate
