It cost me about $275. That was the frame, swingarm, a-arms, foot pegs, front bumper, grab bar and hubs.

$$250 isn't a bad price for that powdercoating. Powdercoating is definitly the way to go.

Powdercoating is the defenitely the way to go, but it can still wear off like the frame you have now. It chips instead of flaking. Check out "My page" and you can see I had a few things done on my bike. It's holding up very well.

Calling around Vegas it seem's to start at about $250.00 for the very basic colors & then escalade from there. This is for the frame only with no other bits or pieces. For the color I wanted one place gave me a quote of $500.00!!!

I chromed my wheelie bar because the price for powdercoating was about the same & they didn't have the color I wanted & it was an extra $100 for special order colors.

The stuffI had powdercoated looks great even 2 years later!!

i got my candy red over chrome powder coat doen for $175 at a place here in orange county. and thats for frame swingarm and a list of other stuff. to have them chromed would be SIGNIFICANTLY higher. i love the way my candy turned out but it is a little brittle.. its not flaking off or anything but i do have to watch out when im working with tools etc. if you want a durable PC than go for a silver vein. its a bullet proof powdercoat finish but your frame will look like lawn furniture
