GRIZZLY OWNERS- GLUE IN YOU BUMPER CAPS!
#1
just wanted to let you all know to be careful with you 4 black bumper caps on the front bumper.
First one:
I lost one about 4 months after i found it, howver i found it and put it back on. (thought it was just a fluke thing).
Second One:
i lost one of the side ones, could not find that one so i took one off my beartracker and glued it in with the highest strength compound i could find.
Third one:
than i lost the first one again. (found that all smashed up) by this time i was pretty friggen p1ssed.
i checked the other one and that one was loose! so i have them all, GLUED back in place.
not a major problem at all i just wanted to let you all know, anyone lese have this problem?

Good god yes! One of the better posts I've seen in a while. This is almost a must here. I lost one, coughed up much more than it was worth for another. JB welded all four in good, and then the missing cap turned up mysteriously. This was a problem on some Arctic Cats with the big front push bar caps. We replaced the caps on my uncle's 454 like 3 times before finally gluing them in there.
Very good tip here.

can you imagine charging someone five bucks for a that little cap. How do they sleep at night. I would go to the dealer and make them lose one.

the bumper is so cheesey and thin don't worry over the caps worry over bending the bumper all up and mangleing it up.
I made a custom bumper for my griz shortly after buying my piece of crap.
thanks

I made a small retainer ring to fit inside of the "ears" of my bumper caps to help keep the plastic spread out enough to hold. Havent had one come loose since then. The caps can still be pryed off if the need be, but it does make them fit ALOT tighter.
