running with no lid and was wondering if i needed to cover up the breather hose that connected to the snorkel,I want to get a filter but what can i do in the mean time..Thanks

 

For the mean time secure it inside the airbox below the air filter. This will give it about the same protection it had while it was connected to the snorkel. I found a Harley crank case breather filter that fit well enough on mine.

There is a K&N that fits it but I don't know the #. I found on to fit from A1R or something like that, its improt car stuff.
