Default Champion Beadlocks

You can send your rim into Champion Wheels and they will make it a beadlock. This is a cheaper alternative to buying a beadlock wheel from them. I have Douglas .190's and I'm seriously considering doing this. I was just wondering if anyone has, or knows someone who has, done this already. Did you notice any problems? Are they strong as they claim to be? Did they look like a regular beadlock? Or did they just add an inforcment ring? I want to make sure I'm not wasting my money, and wasting my Douglas rims to get this done.

Has anyone tryed the Carbon Fiber Beadlocks? Curious about those too.

Any info or factsd and opinions you can give would be much appreesh.
