Read in the polaris forum where harry dynoed the predator (stock) and got 45hp. Dam that is a whale of a number. I am impressed. I need to get that kid back to Aledo with his and race RRC's virgin 34hp raptor against it. Does not look to good for the piped/jetted raptor crowd. Now i understand what some of the 686 guys were saying the other day.

 

I hope that dam thing is maxed out in stock form and a pipe/filter/jetting only gives it 1 more hp. I don't want to upgrade again. But I don't like getting smoked either. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

did they dyno a stock Raptor at the same time? if so, I bet it made more than 34-36 HP on the same dyno as the Predator.

I've read about stock Raptor dyno's being anywhere from 34-39 HP.... still 45 does seem impressive...

if it's all true.... about the power and the handling of the Predator.... I just hope it holds up... and that Polaris finds away to shave about 40 lbs. off of it.... switch to an aluminum frame and A-arms or something

 

LoL, BlueLeader, it will probably get goods gains on pipe and filter, just not very good gains from cam or porting, they must already have a good cam and flow capabilites to be making that much power so you probably cant go MUCH higher with them. I can see it now though, they will probably hit like 47-50 with pipe and filter rending the stock raptor obsolete. Of course with engine work the Raptor will still be the king since it has more potential from its size.
I did kinda notice that the preds in the videos were hauling butt and riding wheelies up the hills they were climbing..... just thought the riders were trying real hard to make them look fast though.
