Porting Carb Boots on Raptor!
I used a air grinder with a fine grit sanding wheel on it.
Pull the carbs, look & feel the insides of the boots & use a marker where the high spots are, slowly grind material away & do several test fits.
The boots have a little slop on the bolts so make sure you get it in the same place every time when you check it.
Go slow & do several checks & you can get it right on. Make sure the O rings are in the grooves correctly when you put it back together.

It was about 3 hours total time (About an hour porting & matching them) I did it while I was adjusting the valves since I already had the plastic off.
Any time you improve air flow it helps.
My boots were as much as 1/8" off in spots & that makes a lot of turbulance.
With CV carbs the less turbulance the better!!
