Default Raptor oil return line

The end of the oil return line that's plumbed into the motor on my Raptor is loose. The plate that secures the end with the two allen head bolts is tight but I can wiggle the line. There's no oil leaking around the plate but I'm a little concerned anyway. Does anyone out there have the same problem?

Raptordan,

I have the ultimate 01 virgin so I thought I would go out and look at mine since I have never messed with that area except for maybe to wipe it clean with a baby diaper.

Mine was oil free and does move slightly but this is do to the fact of part no. 93210-15171-00 O-RING $2.65.

If the bolts are tight and there is no oil I would say your OK. Its moving on the o ring. Looks like it would be easy to replace if you feel the need.

Hit right here for a look at the O ring Pull that page down!!!!!

I also thaught it was the o-ring and replaced it. The leak was coming from up above the connection where the adaptor meets the tank and that piece can not be taken apart.

I could be wrong, but I think he is talking about the line that is going into the top and towards the rear of the motor behind the starter and not the one under the oil holding tank.

Chet,

You're correct, it is the one behind the starter that I'm talking about. Thanks for your reply. I just get a little concerned with anything that has to do with engine oil.
