Glamis 440 - fastest stock quad???
#12
Sorry Guy's,
I own both the Banshee and the C-dale. My Banshee is faster, but its pretty modified. The C-dale is faster than a stock Banshee and will run very well with minor mods to the Banshee. Its close enough that the rider can make the difference or who gets the better start, etc. The C-dale is faster than a piped raptor, but not by a super amount. Also note: we've been doing quite a bit of testing and many things come into play. One of the false things people think is that the moto map will make the bike win the races and this is not the case at least not dragging in the sand. Our C-dale with the modified speed map does better due to the front end is easier to keep down. When dune riding, the moto map is fun because it wants to wheelie with the fast revs. but makes it more difficult at times. The speed map is more practical for most riders. One other thing is that the C-dale is faster in certain conditions, but when the hills get longer and steeper theres no replacing the Big CC's.
I have fun on all our bikes and they excel in different ways.

Um lets see............Cannibal MSRP=7000. Raptor MSRP=6500. thats a 500 buck difference. A Piped Raptor (about 500) may beat a STOCK Cannibal in a straight line, get it on a MX or XC track with equally skilled riders and watch the Cannibal go right past that Piped Raptor.
U people seem to forget about the Cannibal when u consider price...........the best quote for a Raptor I got around here was 6200 and they best for a Cannibal was 6900, once again a 700 dollar difference is not all that big.

NO he beat me when he ran in and took the jump while i was staging with 918 but when i made him stop and stage no he did not win any and you did not stay to play with the 440 and she was just as devastating as yours and we must run off the bottle i think you'll cry!!!at what my 686$ 440 can do!!! and no it was not that impressive if you take a stock 400ex and put the the difference in the two into the ex'er you will have a superiour bike that will be around for awhile!!! you may be feeling sparky because you took my little bike but trust me ill take that glow away!!!!!!
And kodiak can you say TIGER SHARK????

You all talking about racing a Glamis 440 at Olds? The one from the article was at Patton hill. Rider ability had a lot to do with it

I have a stock Raptor and a Moto 440 kicked my butt at Silver Lake in a drag race. A piped Raptor might stay with one but not sure. In the sand I would say they are #2 behind the Banshee. They rev to the moon which is what you need in the sand
