Default Dissecting the Raptor Swingarm

I have stripped down my swingarm and I am trying to remove the bearing carrier. I have removed all of the bolts and still no luck. Should the caliper bracket come right off?? Any suggestions????

I had to beat the hell out of mine to get it off. Yes the caliper bracket comes off the right hand side, then the carrier slips out to the left. I used a big block of wood and a 6 pound sledge to beat on the center from the right hand side.

Its just as fun putting it back together! To do this I had to brace the right hand side caliper bracket with a 2x4 against the wall of my garage and beat it in the left using another block of wood.

If I remember correctly once you take the axle out and take out the bolts you loosen to adjust the chain it comes right out. the side plates may be siezed with corrosion or sand but they should come right off.

Guys- Use a torch to heat up the carrier and they should just drop out!
