Four Stroke Wars=GREED???? I am out
HMMMMMMM!!!!!
I understand that it takes a little cake to set up these drag races via DRW ( Drag Race Wars) that "THE COMPOUND" is getting set up for in August, but to charge your main source of advertisement ("atvconnections") to get there name pluged in during this event Just dosen't seem right.
I will be driving for 26hrs to make this event so that hill better be open[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] I can drag race flat sand here locally> I want the HILL!!!!!

If money is an issue, I'm sure all FSW participants will happily kick in $10.00 for an entry fee to cover trophies etc.etc. He11 I'll kick in a little cake to help the cause and to keep it from being a pocket burden on one individual. I just want to drag race the best of the best to see where my machines stand win or lose.
P.S. Once again; If it wasn't for connections "THE COMPOUND" & FSW wouldn't exist. This coming from a guy that has nothing to gain by saying this because I have my own forum.

Wanting to charge the connection sounds like something a lowlife would do. I thought the king had more class than that. It seems the bigger peoples heads get the more ungreatful they are. Maybe he wants to be Don Kingraptor.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

I have done a few of these at the trailer park. Trophies are cheap I paid less than 100 dollars for a dozen engraved. T-shirts were 120 a dozen. I did not have a clue how many to order so i bought 4 dozen, I sold all but 5 so i lost 50 buck there.If i had needed more i could reorder. I was out less than 150 to have a event. King collected 500 for t-shirt sponsors alone and then he is selling the shirts for $$$. Today was the first that a "charity" was mentioned. (after he got caught with hand in cookie jar) I THINK THE CHARITY IS A GREAT IDEA!!! BUT that is not how this event started. Maybe the king will get on and explain what he was going to do with the 2500 dollars if he had collected all of it. I would think a man of KINGs means could afford to spend a few hundred dollars out of his pocket to pull the event off in his backyard. I know that it will cost me more and a few hundred dollars to go out there and play. They way i see it now, we drive from all over the states to play in the kings back yard and he has a all epense paid weekend. This whole event has caused heated debates and discussions and led to the formation of different groups. I think that the king was getting a little to greedy today and bartlet let out a little private info. I am sure there is a lot more that only a few know about. Dbeck and ATVCONNECTION have done tons of good for FSW's. The KIng wanted to charge them 10 times the money that he charged the other sponsors. LOL

That seems to be the way everything goes, i just ordered the dyna cdi 3 days ago and a few more parts to be a little more competitive. I wonder if all those so called fast bikes are real or just a attempt to stir up intrest. My biggest concern was driving 1350 miles for a event that only had 40 people participating. I was a glamis over T-day and it looked like 50 banshees were playing king of the hill. That "event" has been going on for years i think.

Hey MichaelAZ, Smitty911, mhargrove, and others….thank’s for kicking in a $100 and the prizes to help out with Four Stroke Wars II. (www.4strokewars.com) It is very generous of you to make donations so the event will be free for all the participants. Anyone seen what the T-shirts prizes and trophies are going to look like?? I think all the racers get a FREE T-shirt. I am sure they will be cool.

The video link does not work but I will see if I can find it. It shows the typical dune conditions with just a few mild whoops at the base of the hill. Also, the winner of last years event was a Curtis Sparks built Raptor with stock shocks.
Anyone who was at Glamis last weekend can tell you the wind has leveled out the 12 whoops created a month ago.
I personally have been looking forward to this gathering all year long and especially because I will get to meet so many of you forum members for the first time. I only got one Glamis trip in this season and FSW’s will be my 1st trip back after 3 months of injury rehab. I CAN’T WAIT!! Glamis is going to be a tremendous experience for those of you who are first timers and I can’t wait to see some 100hp 4 strokes rip up Oldsmobile Hill!!!
I am not going to let a few negative morons who are pissing on the party bother me. It is going to be a blast and I appreciate the efforts and generosity of those who are working to make this a fun event for all that attend. Those of you who think King is making cake on this is out of their minds.

We will crest the top of a smaller parade of bowls into the madness of competition Hill at 9pm on Friday and Saturday night (rather mundane on MLK, but still fun)...................
We will feast like Kings and ride ride ride the greatest bowls and dunes on earth..............and then just when we think it is all over.......we will line up the fastest 4-Stroke dune riding machines on Sunday morning to celebrate the Glory that is FSW II!!!

1st. it is costing a good chunk of change to put this on ive attended several meeting and king dosen't do as much talking as you think!!!
2nd. there is no money being taken home by no one!!!
3rd. i new you would back out 14min but don't blame the king or any one else you came you seen how fast we are here you don't want to come back thats not a bad thing but don't start trouble over it.
4th. and i don't know where all this info is coming from but this forum and the king built FSW and fsw wars has also helped this forum so we should all stop the crap and lets go play in the sand!!!
5th. this event can move so deep in the dunes no one could get to us so it will happen !!!!!!! and the cops (or blm)
shut down the hills at night not at 10am in the morning!!
6th. 14 id appreciate if you would not take a crap in my post toasties
and in summary im slow compared to some bikes that will be coming but it's a tribal thing the sand tribe join us battle us but DON'T SLANDER US[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

AZsand- i am not going to **** in your post toasties. I was there on the biggest week of the year ad 4strokes did not blow past me. So have fun, i never had dreams of winning the "king of the hill" thropy anyway. I just wanted to come and have a good time. Battlelines were formed and lines crossed months ago. It really seemed to get out of hand.
I have paid for the "trailer park" events out of my pocket for 1 reason. That being nobody could say i made money at there expense. I provide food and drinks at the trailer park
