I'm demoing a technology on the forums that's intended to increase the speed that the pages load. I have free use of the technology for 30 days after which time it's $1,500.00 to purchase.

Have you noticed if the forums are loading faster?

If so, on a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the fastest:

1) How fast would you rate the page loading prior to yesterday (Sat, Dec 21)?
2) How fast would you rate the page loading now?

Today was a noticable difference than last week. Not sure from yesterday though.

Yesterday=8

Today=9

Seamed rather fast either way. It's up to you if the little bit of extra spped is worth the $1500. If it won't break the budget, go for it. If money is tight, it doen't seam worth it to me. I give the forum a 10 either way.

The bulk of yesterday the technology was in place. The comparison is really for days prior to yesterday and in past weeks and months compared to yesterday and today.

The feedback helps. I'm sitting on the T-1 and the pages load almost before I take my finger off of the mouse! For me it's hard to tell.

Some people have said the difference is dramatic and others have said about the same. My guess is people on very fast connections will notice less difference.

I'm on dial up and things seem to be loading well for me now. Everyday is a different day for dial up users. Traffic makes a big difference. But once I read this thread I loaded some pages and things seem to be loading well. May or may not be any different than days past. One day things are good on the internet and one day things are bad for dial up users.

There are 122 users on right now. We peaked at 200 one day. Average around 150 at this time of evening. If things are fast now then I'm assuming they'll generally be pretty good.

Better is a big difference than blazing increase in speed. That's why I'm trying to get a scale going so that I can judge how dramatic the benefit is.

Thanks for sharing info!
